I am very pleased to present this exquisite Cippy CrazyHorse Sterling Silver Cuff to add to your collection.
Cippy CrazyHorse is from Cochiti Pueblo near the Rio Grande in New Mexico. His masterful work is in the Pueblo Revival Style. It is classic and simple with repeated designs. His fine award winning work is hand wrought using deep chisel and file techniques. Cippy's detailed handwork is some of the finest of any Native Jeweler today. His pieces are in high demand by collectors and shown in museums around the world.
He was born Cipriano Qunitana to Joe H. and Terecita Quintana in 1946 and changed his name to Cippy CrazyHorse in 1975. He is a former Governor of Cochiti Pueblo. A very high honor indeed.
Cippy has used several hallmarks down through the years. His hallmark on this Six Row Cuff is two "C"'s back to back plus a "Sterling" stamp next to it. If you look closely in the last photo in the lower lefthand corner of the Cuff you can see his Hallmark.
This Cuff is 1 1/2" wide, measures 6 1/2" inside plus 1 1/4" opening. This Cuff is made from substantial Sterling Silver but can be slightly adjusted.
